Who We Are

Polish Football Almanac was set up by Jakub Drożdż, trainspotter and statistician of Polish football. Inspired by the recent icons like Roman Kosecki, Wojciech Kowalczyk and then Emmanuel Olisadebe and Artur Boruc he decided to devote all his spare time to Polish football.

That is how this website came into live - for the pure love of "White-and-Reds".

Now the platform plays an important role for all those fans and pundits interested in condition of Polish football. It is the unique football statistics website for all Poland Football National Teams, namely men's (➔ MEN'S TEAMS) and women's teams (➔ WOMEN'S TEAMS) and futsal and beach soccer line ups (➔ FUTSAL AND BEACH SOCCER TEAMS).

The site aims at creating the enormous archive of Polish football at all international levels. It focuses on data about: players, coaches, results and standings.

Besides, it collects the data of the opponents, rankings, stadiums and referees involved in Poland Football National Teams matches.

A word from the Founder

My name is Jakub and I am a passionate statistician and football enthusiast. I founded the Polish Football Almanac in 2018 in Bielsko-Biała (Poland) with the mission of documenting and promoting Polish football's contemporary history.

Over the years, I have compiled an extensive database of players, coaches, match results, and other crucial statistics.

About the Name

I came up with the idea of the name 'Almanac' all those years ago after watching 'Back to the Future 2'. There is a famous piece when Biff steals the Sports Almanac. That was, honestly, the first time I heard the word. Many years after, when I decided to launch the website, 'Almanac' became the obvious option.
